Title: Network Operation Technician (NOC 1)

Location: Ronan, MT
Salary: D.O.E
Closing Date: Open till filled

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant must pass a pre-hire drug test and will be required to serve a six-month probationary period.

Duties:

• Answer multi-line phone system
• Responsible for proactively monitoring of client systems and networks
• Provide support with troubleshooting and maintaining the network
• Work with recovery group and other support specialists to resolve installations and quality problems
• Keep and maintain records of maintenance activities and system performance
• Perform network monitoring
• Create and update trouble tickets
• Create and update shift report entries
• Will be the first line of communication between the Network Operations Center (NOC), the partners and engineers

Minimum qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Associates degree or certification in computer literacy/installation and repairs
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft applications
• Mutli-line phone systems experience
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and patience
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be eligible to obtain a security clearance
• Demonstrate strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with CISCO and Telco/Mitel equipment and practices
• Experience with WAN monitoring
• CCNA Certification
• Existing security clearance
• Previous experience working with government and/or military sites
• Experience with TCP/IP and Ethernet, preferably gigabit Ethernet preferred

***Combination of work experience and education will be accepted if applicant does not have an Associates degree.**
